Take a breath. Drop your shoulders. Unclench your jaw.
You’ve been carrying a lot — anxiety that keeps you spinning, exhaustion from being strong for everyone, ache that something deeper is just out of your grasp.
These feelings, this experience, is common. It means you’re alive.
What I want you to know is that you are not broken. You don’t need fixing. What you need is a safe space to lay it all out, reconnect with yourself and remember that you hold the wisdom to heal.
At Roadside Therapies, I offer space where your spiritual and emotional selves can connect, where therapy is as much about your soul as your journey.
Take another breath. You’re in the right place.
Discovering your healing journey with me isn’t a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all plan. It’s a partnership filled with trust and desire to become whole.
Together, we will use evidence-based therapy practices alongside spiritually integrated tools like guided imagery, ancestral connection and somatic (body-based) work.
Respecting the spirit is always present here —
whether welcoming the quiet nudge of intuition, inviting ancestral wisdom, or learning to see your pain through a softer, wider lens.
I believe therapy is not about “fixing” you. It’s about discovering what you need and what your next steps are. It’s about guiding you home, to the truest version of yourself, the one that already knows how to heal. Sometimes the healing you need is direction.
Hi, Sunshine
I didn’t just study healing work; I lived it.
In 2017, after years of going through the motions and navigating through life’s unending demands, I hit a wall — what I now call my Awakening. I moved to a remote community far from home for a job and was disconnected from family and familiar ground. Surrounded by silence, grief and harsh realities, I found myself coming apart.
In that unravelling, I felt something deeper: a call to slow down, to listen and to heal. I began journaling, speaking with the Spirit and acknowledging the synchronicities that showed up along the way. Those practices, those intentional moments, became my lifeline — and eventually, my purpose.
I launched Roadside Therapies as a space for others to experience that same kind of healing:
grounded in therapeutic care, infused with spiritual wisdom and rooted in the belief that you are already whole.
Coming from a long line of healers, I have been inspired by generations who nurtured their communities through compassion, tradition, and a holistic view of wellness. My maternal grandmother believed in the power of food and conversation to create healing spaces. My paternal great-grandmother and grandmother dedicated their lives as doulas, bringing comfort and care to families throughout their communities. And my father and paternal grandfather passed down traditional knowledge of herbs and natural remedies, a legacy of wisdom sourced directly from nature. I carry their spirit in this work — not as a burden to uphold, but as a blessing to honour, weaving their wisdom into every session as I walk beside you on your own path home.
While my approach is soulful, it’s also grounded in clinical expertise. I am:
With more than a decade of vast experience working in mental health, from hospitals to community, I bring a deep professional approach to meet you where you are — blending modern psychotherapy with timeless, soul-led wisdom.
Working with me feels like exhaling. Based on where you are and what you need, our sessions can include:
Every session is guided by your pace, your comfort and your beliefs. There’s no pressure to be “spiritual enough” or “healed enough”. Just come as you are and we’ll find the right path for you together.
Healing is not linear for anyone. And you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
I offer a free 15-minute intro call so you can ask questions, feel the fit and take the next step when you’re ready.
