At Roadside Therapies, mind body spirit healing invites reflection on how the mind that thinks, the body that feels, and the spirit that gives life meaning connect and influence one another. When you feel overwhelmed or disconnected, this approach offers a pathway back to wholeness — helping all parts of you work together with greater harmony.

Mind body spirit healing is an integrative approach that draws upon psychotherapy, mindfulness, and somatic awareness. Rather than separating emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of the self, we consider how they interact and influence your day-to-day life.
You've experienced this connection: stress that manifests as shoulder tension, anxiety that lives in your chest, grief that makes your body feel heavy. These aren't separate experiences — they're evidence that your mind, body, and spirit are in constant conversation.
Honours Your Mind — Your thoughts, beliefs, patterns of thinking, and the stories you tell yourself.
Listens to Your Body — Your physical sensations, nervous system responses, and the places you hold tension.
Welcomes Your Spirit — Your sense of meaning, purpose, and connection to something greater.
This process helps you recognize stress patterns, explore how emotions live within your body, reconnect with meaning and purpose, and create greater harmony between what you think, feel, and believe.

Mind body spirit healing is for anyone who senses that their well-being involves more than just managing symptoms.
● Feel disconnected or out of sync with yourself
● Experience physical symptoms with emotional roots (headaches, tension, fatigue)
● Want more than symptom management — seeking deeper understanding and purpose
● Are navigating stress, burnout, or major life transitions
● Feel spiritually disconnected or searching for meaning
● Are ready for an integrative approach that addresses all of you
Physical strain, emotional stress, and mental fatigue intertwine. A stressful thought creates tension in your body. Physical exhaustion makes you emotionally fragile. Spiritual disconnection leaves you feeling empty.
Your Mind Affects Your Body — Anxious thoughts trigger your nervous system, creating physical tension.
Your Body Affects Your Mind — Chronic tension creates mental fog. When your body is dysregulated, your mind struggles to find calm.
Your Spirit Affects Both — When disconnected from meaning, everything feels harder. When aligned with your values, even challenges feel more manageable.
True well-being comes when mind, body, and spirit work in harmony. Healing body mind and spirit supports this integration.

Mindfulness and Grounding Practices — Techniques that bring awareness to your mind, body, and breath, supporting nervous system regulation.
Somatic (Body-Based) Reflection — We notice sensations and tension in your body. Healing body mind and spirit means learning to listen to what your body communicates.
Guided Breathing and Visualization — Practices that help you access calm and connect with inner wisdom.
Reflective Dialogue — Conversation that weaves together body sensations, emotions, thoughts, and questions of meaning.
Healing Words for the Body, Mind and Spirit — We explore how you speak to yourself and develop more compassionate inner dialogue. Healing words for the body mind and spirit aren't about positive thinking — they're about truth, kindness, and understanding.
Optional Spiritual Exploration — For those who wish, we explore questions of meaning, purpose, and values.

Mind body soul healing offers an opportunity to realign your inner and outer worlds through presence and awareness. This work honours your body's wisdom, your mind's insight, and your soul's quiet voice.
"Soul" here isn't necessarily religious — it's about the part of you that knows who you truly are beneath the roles you play and expectations you carry.
We may explore what brings you purpose and connection, how to nurture self-compassion and inner trust, the relationship between spirituality and emotional well-being, and ways to align your actions with your values.
Soul centered therapy honours your inner wisdom and the deeper search for meaning that accompanies emotional growth. Rather than seeking to fix or resolve, this invites you to listen for what your soul is asking of you now.
Soul centered therapy recognizes that sometimes questions are more important than answers. Sometimes the deepest healing comes from accepting yourself exactly as you are.
Together, we explore what brings you meaning, how to nurture self-trust, the relationship between your beliefs and daily life, and ways to create greater alignment.
Some clients describe shifts over time:
Important Note: Individual experiences vary, and this work is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.
Traditional therapy often focuses on thoughts, emotions, or behaviours in isolation. Mind body spirit healing is intentionally integrative — working with your thoughts AND body sensations AND sense of meaning all at once.
Mind body spirit healing welcomes spiritual exploration but doesn't require particular beliefs. "Spirit" refers to your sense of meaning and purpose — whether spiritual, philosophical, or about living authentically.
The healing exercises body mind and spirit we offer are invitations, not requirements. We'll find what feels supportive without becoming burdensome.
While not medical treatment, many clients find that addressing stress and nervous system regulation helps with stress-related symptoms. This work complements (but doesn't replace) medical care.
Yes, sessions are $190 CAD for 50 minutes with insurance receipts provided. As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), this is often covered under extended health benefits.
